Roxell U.S.A. “Thinks Outside the Round” with Oval Feeder Pans for Broilers, Pullets and Breeders

Compared to other broiler feeder styles, Roxell’s HaiKoo™ Oval Broiler Feeder pan assembly provides up to 14% more eating space along the length of the feeder line. The company says that more space reduces bird stress, and improves both uniformity and bird performance.
Thanks to the feeder’s low pan edge, the HaiKoo™ Feeder can be used from the first day. Its ample feeding surface offers eating comfort, and its special grill design helps keep birds out of the pan after 10 days.
The feeder is also designed for control of feed costs with an anti-waste pan rim and special cone wings to reduce feed loss from birds flicking the feed. The handy feed level adjustment ring has easy-to-read settings and is simple to adjust as birds grow. The pan’s deep feed “trough” helps to keep feed centered in the eating area.
Roxell’s oval breeder feeders, the KiXoo® Breeder Feeder and the Vitoo™ Pullet Feeder, are also designed to help producers reduce or eliminate feed waste for significant feed cost savings. Both feature a loop feeding system that allows each pan to be filled simultaneously at start-up.
For feeding breeder pullets, Roxell’s Vitoo™ Pan Feeder serves up to 64 birds per nine feet (2.7 meters) of feeder length, thus supplying up to 58% more eating space than a traditional trough chain feeder. The oval-shaped Roxell KiXoo® Feeder serves up to 64 birds per 10 feet (three meters) of feeder length, supplying up to 42% more eating space compared to a traditional trough chain feeder.
The Vitoo Feeder’s feed windows, low pan rim height and wide grill openings work together to give day old birds easy access to feed. An easy-to-use shut-off slide on the pans enables producers to do partial-house brooding. The handy feed adjuster ring allows an easy and precise adjustment of the feeder’s feed level.
The KiXoo Feeder offers producers the ability to deliver precise and even feed rations to all pans and birds simultaneously for better flock uniformity and more hatching eggs. The feeder’s unique hens-only grill permits quick adjustments of both the grill width and height openings to help keep cockerels away from the hens’ feed.
In addition to being designed for bird comfort, all of Roxell’s oval pan feeder parts were developed for easy cleaning and resistance to commonly used cleansing agents.
